3R grows Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practice announcing Sustainability Consultants
Krupa Patel, Energy Engineer, Sustainability Consultant
3R is pleased to announce the addition of Krupa Patel as a 3R staff member. Krupa initially joined the team in October 2016 as a LEED Engineer Intern.
Krupa began her internship after graduating from Penn State with a BS in Energy Engineering and has continually built on her skills and knowledge base with the support of the team. She obtained her LEED Green Associate in May 2017, went on to achieve her LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C) credential a short time later, and completed LEED Reviewer Training. Her experience with the built environment led to being part of CSR teams incorporating built environment and energy management initiatives into broader CSR programs.
“With expert skills in research and development, planning and implementation, and knowledge of standards, Krupa will play a vital role in corporate social responsibility consulting services as they continue to grow, and we are excited that she has joined the team,” announces Jana Lake, 3R Chief Sustainability Officer and Practice Lead. “As we continue to invest in our CSR consulting services, Krupa will be a valuable member of the team.”
Sama Zarifeh, Energy Engineer, Sustainability Consultant
3R is also proud to introduce Sama Zarifeh. Sama joined 3R as a Sustainability Engineer and Consultant in May 2018, and she will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting the consultative side of the business for both built-environment and CSR consulting services.
Sama brings to 3R a global perspective on sustainability, gaining experience as a mechanical engineer with Global Communities in West Bank, Khatif & Alami in Dubai, and CannonDesign in Pittsburgh, before coming on board with 3R. Sama has a BS in Mechanical Engineering/Thermal Power from Jordan University of Science and Technology and an MS in Engineering with Management from King’s College London.
“Sama’s knowledge in energy management solutions and international sustainability practices make her an important member of the CSR team, and we are excited to have her join us,” adds Jana Lake, 3R Chief Sustainability Officer and Practice Lead. “We are rapidly expanding to meet the growing demand in this field, and we are very fortunate to have Sama and Krupa join the team.”
